An extra special day providing a range of physical opportunities for our children.
On 19th June, we had a fabulous day with a broad range of extra special physical activities for our children. We were able to experience archery, climbing, team challenges, laser-tag, crazy golf, construction challenges and aeroball. It was fantastic to see the children overcome challenges and try new things. We witnessed the students offering each other amazing support and encouragement, saw great sportsmanship and have opened up the possibilities of future hobbies or sports. It was especially inspiring to have been taught by some instructors who have faced their own physical challenges. Our children saw for themselves that visual and hearing impairments or physical restrictions do not need to limit what is possible. It was a pleasure to see how our students applied their attitude to learning to the new challenges too. They persevered when things were tricky, understood that each time they failed they learned something to help them move forward and they showed great resilience. A truly fabulous day!
