January 2021

As we enter another period of National lockdown, we continue to work hard to provide meaningful and ambitious learning for all our students. We strive to ensure that all pupils have access to our online learning, or an equivalent resource. We are able to work with families to give advice, support, bespoke resources, access to devices and most importantly, encouragement.

We know how hard our families and parents work to support the children, so we have ensured some flexibility in our remote learning. Live lessons are recorded on Teams so that families can watch them later, when it is more convenient.

The document below outlines our provision and answers any questions that you may have.  You will also find our Remote Learning Policy within our Policies section.

Home learning March 2020

Please see some examples of the children's home learning whilst we are on a prolonged break. We really hope you enjoy seeing photos of your friends to see what they have been up to.

All the staff have been so impressed with your home learning, that they wanted to share their home  learning too. In the pictures below you can see their craft projects including Mrs Taylor's felt animal, Mrs Harrington's dress making and Mrs Lee's drawing projects. Mrs Chilman, Mrs Walton-Wallace, Mrs Campbell and Mrs Dunmall have been working hard to stay fit by either joining in with Joe Wickes, cycling, walking or learning Golf and Miss Montgomery has been taking her pony for a walk. You'll also notice the fantastic baking that has been going on, Miss Mills has created some delicious Easter cakes and Mrs Bunting baked some lovely flapjacks. Mrs Wickham has been busy cleaning her patio and decorating an Easter tree whilst Mrs Waters is keeping her teaching skills well honed. Mrs Haffenden has a teaser for Year 6, the sequel to The Watertower too! Look out for Mrs Bennett's special scrabble game too - can you recognise the words they made?

We hope you enjoy the photos and know that we are thinking of you all and missing you.

A very special performance by Mrs Haffenden
